BS 7858:2009 - CCTV Systems

BS 7958:2009 is now available! It covers the Code of Practice for the Management & Operation of CCTV systems. Meant for CCTV schemes in public places it provides good practice for all other CCTV schemes. While some schemes might not need to be concerned about DPA (Data Protection Act) criteria, compliance with the code of practice is strongly recommended by BSi, particularly where schemes include an element of observation of the public.

Construction Licensing Executive contract

SQMC is proud to announce the award of a major consultancy contract by the Construction Licensing Executive (CLE) which commenced October 2nd.

Our task is to assist CLE in achieving UKAS Accreditation to deliver the Microgeneration Certification Scheme by mid-2010 – a very tight schedule!
The SQMC team includes Stuart Barclay & David Ingham (Project Manager) and others, as required.
