Head of Consultancy & Audits Division, SQMC Ltd.

The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has designed Microgeneration Standards to provide reassurance to public and private sector clients that both microgeneration products and installers meet robust quality and performance criteria.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme has replaced the ‘Clear Skies’ product and installer registration schemes, and to be eligible for a grant, customers installing microgeneration equipment must use installers who are certificated as competent to the Microgeneration Standards. To obtain certification the installer is required to have management procedures that assure a quality job which meets regulations and technical requirements.

At SQMC, Management Systems are our business, and we can assist in developing procedures to suit your business and to meet the requirements of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.
