"Excellent course delivered by experienced tutors who were able to convey theory to 'real-life' situations. Thanks."

...unlucky for some.
This is the date IRCA have set to withdraw the current open-book examination from Lead Auditor training courses. From 13th April onwards, a tougher exam - without the benefit of referencing your course notes - will be introduced.
FINAL THREE OPPORTUNITIES:
March 12th - 16th (Glasgow)
March 19th - 23rd (York)
March 26th - 30th (Aberdeen)
SQMC (among other forward-thinking training providers accredited by IRCA) have expressed our dismay to IRCA about these changes, urging them to reconsider. However, in January, we received their official confirmation that this will definitey go ahead.
Naturally, SQMC's Technical Team are already redeveloping the course structure and content, to ensure we maximise our students' opportunity to pass the closed book exam, and gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from the training courses beyond April. But if you want to attend a Lead Auditor course where the primary focus is on learning to audit - rather than preparing to sit an exam - we strongly recommend you book on to one of the above courses.
If you'd like to discuss the implications of the coming changes, please don't hesitate to give us a call, on 0845 166 8098.

Running for 40-hours (culminating with a 2-hour examination), the 5-day Lead Auditor course equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform process audits of modern Quality Management Systems (QMS), in accordance with the Auditing Guidelines of ISO 19,011.
Why should YOU attend this Lead Auditor course?
Do you intend to carry out External Audits? This is the role of a “Lead Auditor” – someone with the expertise to audit external sources, such as your suppliers.
Perhaps your aim is to seek employment as an Auditor with a 3rd Party Certification Body – such as BSi or Bureau Veritas? (These are government-recognised companies which have the authority to award ISO 9001 certificates featuring the famous "Tick and Crown" to organisations who comply with ISO.)
Maybe you’re the Manager of such an organisation, you're due to be audited, and you're keen to learn exactly what to expect?!
Or it could be that you’ll be involved in the design, implementation, and continual improvement of a Quality Management System (QMS) - either as an employee, or an external consultant.
Whatever your reason – you’re in good company! Our ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course is accredited by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA), and delegates from the all over the globe have travelled here to the Scottish Quality Management Centre (SQMC), to gain this internationally-accepted qualification.
A few more benefits – at a glance!
Our Lead Auditor course provides a valuable opportunity to improve auditing techniques and practices.
It’s ideal if you’ll carry out external assessments of contractors and suppliers; either on behalf of your employer, or as an independent Quality Consultant on behalf of a client.
It’s essential if you’re seeking “Registered Auditor / Lead Auditor / Principal Auditor / Provisional Auditor” status.
Train with the original and best – SQMC were Scotland’s first providers of IRCA Lead Auditor training courses, back in 1992. Our vast experience in turn lends itself to an enviable pass rate in excess of 95%. Compare that to the average pass rate of 84% elsewhere in the UK. (Source: IRCA)
Add Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points to your record, by participating in this SQMC programme.
