A brief overview of Achilles / UVDB Verify

Achilles works to identify, qualify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers on behalf of major organisations worldwide. SQMC assist companies who have difficulty in preparing for an Achilles "Utilities Vendor Database" (UVDB) Verify audit, either through lack of time or resources. Our work in this area has been recommended by Scottish Power, who have required suppliers to be registered under the scheme.

Achilles requires suppliers to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) which they then verify through an audit. The audit covers Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and arrangements.
